Shearer drum as the core component of coal cutting and coal loading,its performance directly affects the working efficiency and the quality of coal.In the past,there are many problems and deficiencies in the research of shearer cutting force.Therefore,based on the actual production conditions and the original model parameters,the simulation model of shearer drum cutting coal wall is established,simulation of dynamic process of the drum cutting coal wall,the influence of some structural parameters on the cutting performance was studied,then improve and optimize the structure of the drum,The research has guiding significance in improving the cutting performance and the structure design of shearer.This paper mainly studies three parts.In the first part,UG is used to establish the three-dimensional model of spiral drum of shearer,then using the discrete element software PFC,the macro parameters of coal wall are calibrated and the coal wall model is established,the dynamic process of the drum cutting coal wall is simulated and analyzed,The feasibility of the discrete element method to analyze the dynamic process of the drum cutting coal is verified.The second part is based on the previous content,study the influence of the pick assembly angle and line spacing to the cutting performance of the drum.The cutting force curve of the whole cutting process is drawn,the particle size and the specific energy consumption of cutting drum in the unit time are obtained.Through comparison and analysis,optimize the pick assembly angle and line spacing of two structural parameters.The third part uses the finite element software ABAQUS to simulate and analyze the process of cutting the coal wall of the 3 groups of different spiral blades,the average and standard deviation of the corresponding cutting force are obtained.Based on the analysis of the overall force and the degree of fluctuation,the parameters of blade lift angle are obtained,which can make the cutting performance of drum better.The research results show that according to the force and specific energy consumption of the drum,under the same cutting conditions,it is more appropriate to choose the drum with 45 degrees installation angle of the picks compared with the other four installation angles.The line spacing of the drum smaller,the force of the drum smaller during the whole cutting process,however,the fluctuation of cutting load is not necessarily smaller,The cutting energy consumption of drum with the 70 mm line spacing is smaller,Comprehensive the force and the cutting energy consumption of drum,The line spacing of drum should be 60~70 mm.The lifting angle of the spiral blade has certain influence on the cutting force,The drum with 20 degrees lifting angle of the spiral blade has smaller the cutting force,The drum with 18 degrees lifting angle has smaller load fluctuation,Comprehensive the force and the fluctuation degree of drum,The drum with 22 degrees lifting angle has poor force condition.We should not be used the drum with too large angle(22 degrees)to cut.In this paper,the influence of the structure parameters including the pick assembly angle,line spacing and spiral rise angle on the cutting performance of the drum is analyzed,it provides reference and basis for the reasonable selection of drum structure parameters.
