The offset worm face gear drive is the research object in this paper.Basing on the meshing theory,the tooth surface equation of the curve tooth face gear is solved.The machining method of milling gears of curved face gear and the design of finger milling cutter are completed on account of the motion relationship between the curve tooth gear and involute cylindrical worm gear.On the basis of this,machining process on the NC machine tool by simulation is realized.Then the contact analysis and vibration analysis are carried out on the transmission model.And the reliability of machining method of face gear is verified by the contact area and force condition.Firstly,the transmission coordinate system of offset worm gear is set up.Starting from the tooth surface equation of the involute cylindrical worm gear,the kinematic relationship between the two components in the transmission process is achieved.Combining the gear meshing theory and the mathematical geometry,tooth surface equation and unit normal vector equation are establishedAccording to the kinematic model of the curve face gear with the principle of the double parameter movement,the machining process of the curve face gear and the involute cylindrical worm are processed.Then the milling process of the curve tooth face gear is finally determined.On the other hand,basing on the target tooth line equation,the blade shape equation is solved and the blade shape correction is carried out.The finger milling cutter model is designed for the process of tooth milling.Then,depending on the coordinate transformation,the tool movement trajectory is transferred to the NC machine tool coordinate system,and the position and attitude parameters of the tool are solved.Using the fishing line wheel as the carrier,the simulation process software is used to realize the milling process of the small curve face gear,and the geometric model of the worm gear drive pair is obtained.Finally,contact analysis of the model is carried out to find out the contact condition of the tooth surface when the gear meshes with the curve face gear and the involute cylindrical worm.At the same time,the vibration analysis of the worm gear transmission system is carried out to verify the feasibility and reliability of the milling method.
