As the traditional textile industry treasure of our country,silk is favored by consumers for its soft handle and elegant sense,good skin-touch,waxy handle and pearl-like soft luster.But with the rise of the chemical fiber industry,coupled with the shortcomings of traditional silk fabric such as easy to pollution,easy to wrinkle,poor color fastness limited its market demand.With the rising voice of environmental protection,the application of biodegradable materials has received more and more attention.Thus how to combine PHA with traditional silk fiber,integrate their advantages is worthy of the use of PHA in the field of fiber and broaden the types of silk products.In this paper,PHA/PLA composite fiber/silk blended yarn,pure silk and P-P pure spinning were used as raw materials to design and develop light and heavy type samples of PHA/PLA composite fiber/silk blended fabrics,of which 12 light fabrics,25 thick heavy fabrics.The air permeability,moisture permeability,pilling resistance,wrinkle recovery,handle style,visual style,and fabric biodegradability of fabrics were tested.The effects of texture,weft density,content of PHA/PLA composite fiber on wearable performances,style and biodegradability were discussed.Performances and style of lightweight PHA/PLA composite fiber/Silk blended fabricsIn the plain weave fabrics,the air permeability and pilling resistance of the fabric with pure silk as the warp yarns were obviously higher than those of the blended yarns.The moisture permeability of each fabric was not obvious,and the wrinkle recovery of the blended fabrics was slightly lower.In the twill weave fabrics,the performances of the pure silk fabric were better than that of blended fabrics.In the stain fabrics,there was no obvious difference between silk fabric and blended fabrics.The air permeability,moisture permeability and wrinkle recovery change from large to small in the order of stain,twill,plain.The change of pilling resistance was opposite.In the twill series fabrics,the air permeability,moisture permeability and wrinkle recovery of the fabrics were reduced with the increase of the weft density,and the pilling resistance was opposite.The addition of PHA/PLA composite fiber could improve the fabric stiffness flatness,smoothness the luster of fabrics at a certain extent,but the softness and scroopy were reduced.Therefore,in practical the content of PHA/PLA composite fiber should not be too large or too small.Performances and style of thick PHA/PLA composite fiber/Silk blended fabricsThe air permeability of thick PHA/PLA composite fiber/silk blended fabrics was lower than that of pure silk fabric.The moisture permeability was not much different from that of pure silk fabric.The blended fabrics had no difference in pilling resistance;some were similar to silk fabric.The wrinkle recovery of blended fabrics was quite different with different warp and weft yarns,some better than pure silk fabric.Compared with the pure silk fabric,the scroopy of thick blended fabrics was lower,and the other handle style values were different.When the content of composite fiber was low(<(65.0±1.7)%),the stiffness and flatness of blended fabric were small,the fullness and softness were generally large,and the smoothness was slightly different with different combination of warp and weft yarns.When the content of composite fiber was(65.0±1.7)%,the stiffness and flatness of the blended fabric ware different with different warp and weft yarns;some fabrics were even larger than pure silk fabric.The softness and fullness were larger.The drape performance of blended fabrics was better than pure silk fabric.Effect of PHA/PLA composite fiber content on performances and styleWith the increase of the percentage of PHA/PLA composite fiber,the air permeability of the fabrics decreased obviously,the moisture permeability changed little,and pilling resistance decreased slightly.When the PHA/PLA composite fiber content increased to a certain value(33.3%),the wrinkle recovery was the best.The softness and fullness of PHA/PLA composite fiber/silk blended fabrics were better than that of pure silk fabric.The addition of composite fiber could improve the softness and fullness.When the content of composite fiber was 33.3%,the blended fabric was stiffness,flatness and smoothness were not much difference from pure silk fabric,and scroopy was above the mean 3.28.The static of drape performance of blended fabrics was between 37 and 69%,when the composite fiber content was 56.7%(29#)was the best.The addition of composite fibers could improve the fabric luster,but the content should not be too high,otherwise it may play a reaction.Biodegradability of PHA/PLA composite fiber/Silk blended fabricsThe degradation rate of fabrics changed from large to small in the order of pure silk fabric(13#),blended fabric(25#),P-P pure textile(37#).With the increase of the degradation time,the surface of the pure silk fabric was obviously damaged,and the surface color of the fabric gradually changed from white to yellow,partially brown,the luster gradually decreased.The damage was obvious for 90 days,the yarn became thinner,and the pores of fabric increased;The surface of blended fabric was not significantly damaged,but the fabric color gradually changed from white to yellow,accompanied by a small amount of brown;The surface of P-P pure textile had not been significantly damaged degradation to 90 days,but the surface hairiness increased.
