Environmental problems such as global warming caused by increased carbon dioxide emissions pose many dangers to the world's economic development and social operations,posing a threat that can not be ignored for the survival and reproduction of mankind.For decades,our economy has experienced a leapfrog development.At the same time,its contradictions with energy and the environment have become increasingly prominent.However,as a large province of energy consumption in our country,Shanxi needs to consume a large amount of energy for its own economic construction and residential life.While energy consumption drives economic growth,large-scale carbon emissions have also brought many negative impacts on the ecological and economic development in Shanxi.Therefore,we should make an in-depth study on the relationship between energy consumptions,carbon emission and economic growthes and explore ways to effectively utilize energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions while achieving sustainable and balanced development of the three sectors while economic development is under way.Become a key proposition to be solved urgently.This paper first analyzes the current situation of the related research both at home and abroad,and then introduces the related theoretical foundations of sustainable development theory,decoupling theory and low-carbon economy theory.Then carbon emission calculation method is introduced to calculate carbon emissions,and a descriptive statistical analysis is made on the development of energy consumption,carbon emissions and economic growth in Shanxi Province.Found that energy consumption,carbon emissions and economic growth in Shanxi Province as a whole showed a steady rise.Then using the cointegration test,Granger causality test and other measurement methods to research the relationships between energy consumptions and economic increase in Shanxi Province to make a study to confirm the existence of long-term equilibrium between the two,energy consumption is one-way Granger economic growth The reason of decoupling is analyzed by using the decoupling index method of Tapio.The decoupling analysis is made on the relationship between carbon emission and economic growth in Shanxi Province.Except in a few years,the decoupling state is shown.The carbon emissions and economic growth in Shanxi Province generally show a weak decoupling state and economic growth Rate has been higher than the growth rate of carbon dioxide emissions;by building a vector autoregressive models,the take of impulse responses and variance decompositions to research the dynamic relationship between the three.Thirdly,based on LMDI decomposition analysis,the carbon emissions in Shanxi Province are factorized.It is pointed out that in order to control carbon emissions,Shanxi Province should continue to reduce energy intensity,improve energy efficiency,and actively improve energy consumption structure.Finally,based on the above research,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions on how to realize the sustainable development of low-carbon economy in Shanxi Province in terms of adjusting industrial structure,formulating relevant laws and regulations and establishing carbon trading market.
