Study On The Restoration And Reuse Of Abandoned Mining Pits In Lotus Hill Changchun

Building materials play an indispensable role in developing large-scale urban construction,therefore granite-mining activities is inevitable.Next these cause a great deal of serious harms to ecological environment and lead to the aftermath that mining pits have been evolved into one of regions of endangering the ecological environment to the greatest extent.Mining pits are left after lots of mining activities and remain idle or even wasted due to greater difficulties in restoration,higher costs.The existence of these wasted mining pits could not only destroy ecological environment,but also waste land resources in extreme level.Ore extraction in Shuangshan village,Lotus Hill,Changchun makes a great deal of contributions to urban development and construction,but rather over-exploitation could not only greatly ruin the ecological environment of this area,but also pose threats to the residents' life in the meanwhile.This area goes through stopping extraction currently but is left with lots of wasted mining pits,which could seriously waste land resources and greatly influence the development of Lotus Hill Ecotourism Holiday Resort in Changchun.Therefore it is urgent to discuss and research how to restore and reuse the cluster of mining pits in Shuangshan village.This paper starts from research of 21 wasted mining pits in Shuangshan village,Lotus Hill,Changchun and adopts such research approaches as document research,case study,on-the-spot investigation and comprehensive multidisciplinary research.Through researching relevant theories,policies,laws and regulations,values of wasted mining pits,the great efforts are made to put forward existing problems in restoration and reuse of these mining pits and further analyze location,background,typicality and current overview of mining pits in Shuangshan village,finally it comes up with approach of restoration,and principle,design and model of reuse in cluster of mining pits in Shuangshan village.This paper puts an emphasis on research of cases of restoration and reuse of wasted mining pits at home and abroad.With further analysis of existing problems and current features of cluster of mining pits in Shuangshan village,it concludes one set of theory and approach related to restoration and reuse of cluster of mining pits in Shuangshan village.It is hoped that this research strategy of restoration and reuse of mining pits cluster in Shuangshan village,Lotus Hill,Changchun could be regarded as example and reference for restoration and reuse of wasted mining pits in Changchun and other cities in China.
