By reason of simple structure,without relatively moving component,low price,operating and maintaining conveniently,and satisfying different demand,Cyclone separator is widely used in gas purifying and solid recycling.This thesis does the research for the numberical simulation of cyclone separator,and have a comprehensive analysis on the main operational factors and structural parameters which influence the separation efficiency.Firstly,the geometry model of the separator is established,then the mesh and boundary conditions are setted.The gas phase adopts RSM turbulence model,the solid particle adopts the random orbit model in Lagrangian coordinate system,and the gas-solid two-phase fluid pressure field in the separator is numerically simulated and analyzed based on the QUICK discrete format and the pressure-velocity coupled SIMPLEC algorithm.The fluid flow field and separation efficiency in the separator under different pressure are studied.It is concluded that the separation efficiency of the separator first increases and then decreases with the increase of the pressure difference.Secondly,a numerical simulation method is used to study the influence of the echaust pipe structure of the separator on the separation performance of the separator.It is found that properly changing the diameter of the echaust pipe can suppress the short-circuit flow and increase the shear velocity in the separation space,which is beneficial to the particles separation;The proper insertion depth of the echaust pipe can improve the instability of the separation flow in the separation space of the separator and improve its separation performance.Finally,three paprameters which is the diameter of echaust pipe,the length of inserted exhaust pipe and pressure drop impact on separation efficiency have been optimized base on Design of Experiment method and optimization theory.Obtain the optimum parameters of the cyclone separator in the final,they are : the diameter of echaust pipe is 130 mm,the length of inserted exhaust pipe is 145 mm,pressure drop is 5160 pa.Compared with the original design,the separation effciency is increased based on the design of DOE experient and optimization.
