Food industry is an industry along with human society progress,and is closely related with the national economy,people's health.After the industrial revolution and the information revolution,society and economy developed rapidly,the food industry began decades of high-speed development.However,with the optimizing of economic structure,the improving of national living level and health awareness,and frequent news in the food safety field,food industry is recently meeting the bottleneck period.In order to the industry upgrade,serving the high-value and high-gaining-sense product becomes a to-do plan.Therefore,many major enterprise groups developed several functional food product,getting the good market expectations.But at the same time,because of the greatly strengthened supervision on food safety,and the social strong attention an food safety issues,food enterprises will face more and more risks than ever in the new-product-development project.Based on the specialties of fast moving consumer goods industry,this article is researching the project rick management on the functional-food-development project of W company.Considering the division of the project life cycle,risk identification and evaluation with each project life cycle will be took.With combining risk management principle,this research will propose specific risk managing measures,aiming the key risk factors.Through the process of project risk management,our project completed successfully and the new product got a good market performance.This research will become a reference with the project risk management in product development to the W company,and even to the whole food industry.Besides,ths study will play a certain role in the promoting of standardizing management of food industry project.
