The contradiction between economic development and environmental protection has become increasingly prominent in China,and coal-fired power plants are considered to be the major pollutant emissions,and they are one of the main sources of atmospheric pollutants such as SO2,NOx and Soot.In recent years,the repeated attacks of fog and haze in northern China have brought serious problems to people's life and health,This makes the environmental protection departments attach great importance to the problem of air pollution,and at the same time,the state and local governments have formulated stringent emission standards for fossil fuel power plants,The original environmental protection facilities in thermal power plants have been unable to meet the existing emission standards,so it is necessary to carry out ultra low emission transformation.Ultra low emission technology,refers to the power plant coal-fired units in power generation operation and terminal treatment process,using a variety of new technology for removing pollutants efficiently collaborative emission control,the concentration of atmospheric pollutant emissions consistent with gas unit emission limits,To ensure that the flue gas smoke,SO2,NOX emissions concentration?benchmark oxygen content of 6%?are no more than10mg/m3,35mg/m3,50mg/m3,become a new benchmark for cleaner production of coal-fired power generation units.As an important part of the ultra-low emission retrofit process of coal-fired units in thermal power plants,the wet electrostatic precipitator is arranged behind the desulphurization island of the power plant to efficiently remove the fine dust such as PM2.5 in the wet flue gas and to make the soot Emissions more clean and environmental protection,meet the national environmental requirements,and can effectively remove the SO3 in flue gas and toxic heavy metals,can effectively solve the gypsum rain,blue smoke and other air pollution problems in the entire ultra-low emissions reform process plays an important role.This paper analyzed the current status of pollutant control in thermal power plants in China,especially the huge pressure on dust control.The paper introduced the dust removal technology applied in current coal-fired units in detail.Taking a 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power plant in a power plant in eastern Guangdong as an example,The necessity and feasibility of the dust remodeling were analyzed,the comparative analysis of several different dust remodeling programs was made,the performance requirements and the design requirements of the main parameters of the wet electrostatic precipitator were proposed,and the performance of wet electrostatic precipitator after the transformation was tested and analyzed.The project practice showed that after the wet electrical dust remodeling modified,the unit of this project can make the dust emission concentration?5mg/m3,effectively removed the fine dust such as PM2.5 in the flue gas,and maked the emission index of the dust reach the national environmental protection requirements,And effectively reduced SO3 emission,reduced emissions of pollutants,and achieved good economic and social benefits.Wet electrostatic precipitator technology with thermal power plants in the promotion of the application prospects,I hope this article can bring the same type of wet dust remodeling units to bring references.
