In recent years, with China’s rapid economic development, to the total amount of fine particles in the atmosphere emissions continue to increase, causing a great deal of influence on atmospheric environment. Especially the increase of PM10 and PM2.5 will cause a decline in air quality, leading to a wide range of severe haze weather, the frequency is increased, the harm to human health. China’s coal production and consumption country in the world’s largest, the proportion of coal in the primary energy structure is basically stable at around 70%. While the dominant in a period of future power plants in the power generation industry is still occupied the position, is one of the important sources of atmospheric environment of China’s dust and fine particles pollution. Compared to other sources of power plants to take is to focus on governance, organized discharge principle, fine particle pollutants can play a multiplier effect from the thermal power plant control. At present, China has formulated and implemented more stringent dust discharge standard of pollutants, in order to meet the more strict emission standards, the majority of dust thermal power plant will face a comprehensive upgrade, and constantly improve the level of control technology of fine particles.The thesis analyzes comprehensively the present situation of power plant control pollutants in China, especially the dust control faced pressure from China’s national conditions, through the practical application of 300 MW units, showed that the wet electric dust removal technology is not only the dust after the transformation of thermal power plant with advanced technology economy feasible solution, has vigorously promoted application prospect. This paper will take a 300 MW coal-fired unit wet electric dust as the research object, the factors affecting the properties of wet electric dust removal was studied. The theory and the practice results show that after wet electric dust removal retrofit of existing thermal power plants, coal-fired power plants could make the ultra low emission standards for thermal power plant dust emission is less than or equal to 5mg/m3, and can effectively remove saturated wet flue gas desulfurization and collected after saturated water outside of the droplet, reduce the "chimney rain", energy-efficient power plant water consumption.
