Global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing human development today, which is caused by the massive use of coal, oil, natural gas and other fossil fuels emitting a large amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.UN climate summits advocate countries to take measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, develop low power consumption, low emissions, low pollution, low carbon economy, realize the sustainable development of economy and environment.Since 1978's reform and opening,China has been developing fast, and the International trade has occupied an important position, which has also brought the increase of carbon emissions. As the world's largest developing country,China has committed to carrying out emission-reduction obligations which matches with its own national conditions, the development phase and the actual capacity, and achieving the carbon dioxide emissions peak in 2030.So through measuring carbon emissions contained in domestic production and export trade reasonably, and researching on the reduction of space in China's export trade,it brought profound meaning for the growth of economic development and maintain environmental quality. This paper is mainly based on the mechanism of China's carbon emission and the related theories of low-carbon economy, analyzed qualitatively on the scale, structure, pattern of China's foreign trade. On the basis,input-output model was used to analyze the four years foreign trade data in different sectors of China's export trade, arriving at a conclusion quantitatively and qualitatively that since 2010 the carbon dioxide emissions still in the growth trend, but the part from foreign trade has declined, which indicated that the transformation of China's export trade has worked, but it is not enough. After that, the article used structural decomposition analysis(SDA)to identify the driving forces behind annual changes of carbon dioxide emissions embodied in China's export trade. Results indicated that total export volume was the largest drivers for the growth in embodied carbon dioxide emissions, followed by intermediate input structure, carbon dioxide emissions intensity.According to the results we got,the paper made some suggestions on the reduction of embodied carbon dioxide emissions from China's export trade. In terms of decreasing the carbon dioxide in exported goods and find the way to develop sustainably,China should expand domestic demand to seek balanced economy development, enhance energy-use efficiency, optimize consumption structure and adjust export structure, develop and improve domestic carbon emissions trading market. At the same time,China should actively participate in international cooperation projects in the field of low carbon and climate negotiations, and correctly deal with trade measures such as carbon tariffs, carbon labels and so on at the international level.
