As a precondition for ensuring the consistency and stability of printing quality,printing standardization has gradually gained the attention of printing technicians.In order to realize the printing standardization based on ISO/PAS 15339,this paper aims at the problem of the loss of color information in transformation between different CMYK color spaces by traditional standard ICC and the limitation of ISO 12647-2 in different printing processes,Device Link profiles are built and optimized by the tool of ProfileEditor?Gradation Correction,Grey Balance,Global Correction,Selective Color,Workflow White and Black Point?on the basis of the creation of source ICC and destination ICC,which are used to achieve standardization test of ISO/PAS 15339.Finally,the solid color,TVI,grey balance,average ?E00?0.93?and max ?E00?4.62?of the standardized results are all within the tolerance range of ISO/PAS 15339.According to comparative analysis of the changes in K-channel before and after conversion in PS,process control parameters,and color difference of the standardized results from the two ways of Device Link and standard ICC,it verifies that when converting from CMYK?1?to CMYK?2?,the former method has advantages over the standard ICC in retaining K channel and saving an ink usage.Furthermore,it performs better in color reproduction accuracy.Destination profiles in different TILs are used to create Device Link profile to analyze the effect of color gamut on standardized color reproduction.Color data from standardized results are extracted to depict reproducible spectral curves of four-color overprinting black to determine which is the optimal TIL value under the present experimental conditions,and it turns out that 320%is the most proper one.Besides,by analyzing 3D color gamut and 2D color gamut,it is found that when TIL value is less than the optimal value and becomes smaller,gamut volume,especially in dark tones where the reproduction effect is most affected,will be dramatically compressed,and the amount of reproducible patches exceeding the tolerance of ISO/PAS 15339 increases.Therefore,during the implementation of ISO/PAS 15339 standardization,it is necessary to determine the optimal TIL value under limited conditions in combination with the characterized reference print data?CRPC?set,which corresponding to the substrate in the standard,to ensure that the color reproducibility of output devices is greater than CRPC's.
