In this paper,three series of waterborne epoxy phosphate emulsions were designed and synthesized,and the properties of three series of emulsions and their film were studied.The staple contents and results of this paper were as below:(1)E51 and E44 with higher epoxy value were used,and different waterborne epoxy phosphate emulsions were prepared by self-emulsifying method using 85%phosphoric acid and E51?E44.The conformations of the product was determined by FTIR.The effects of it on the film properties(like coating adhesion,hardness and water resistance)were studied,what is different reactants or different ratios of reactants in the same series.At the same time,the influence of free phosphoric acid,monophosphates and bisphosphates on the properties of the film were analyzed.the conclusions were as below:For E51 and E44,the emulsions with good stability can be composed by the method of self emulsification when the molar ratio of epoxy group to hydroxyl of the phosphate is within a certain range.For E51,when the molar ratio of phosphate hydroxyl group to epoxy group is 3:2,the overall performance of the film of the product is the best.Meanwhile,for E44,when the molar ratio of phosphate hydroxyl group to epoxy group is 2:3,the overall performance of the film of the product is the best.Contrasted with the film of the waterborne product synthesized by E44,the film of the series of E51 had a better boiling resistance.Meanwhile,the solubility of E51 is better than E44 in the dissolving process.So,for E51,less organic solvents(acetone and butanone)are consumed in the dissolving process.Therefore,for the above two reactants with high epoxy values(E51 and E44),the E51 is more propitious to industrial applications and popularization.(2)E20 and E6 with lower epoxy value were used,and different waterborne epoxy phosphate emulsions valuewere prepared respectively by self-emulsifying method using 85% phosphoric acid and E20?E6.The conformations of the product were determined by FTIR.The effects of it on the film properties(like coating adhesion,hardness and water resistance)were studied,what is different reactants or different ratios of reactants in the same series.At the same time,the influence of free phosphoric acid,monophosphates and bisphosphates on the properties of the film were analyzed.The conclusions were as below:For bisphenol A epoxy resins of E6,the product cannot be prepared by the self-emulsification method,because of agglomeration in the process of preparation.But,for bisphenol A epoxy resin of the E20,the emulsions with good stability can be composed by the method of self emulsification,when the molar ratio of epoxy group to hydroxyl of the phosphate is within a certain range.For E20,when the molar ratio of phosphate hydroxyl group to epoxy group is 1:1,the overall performance of the film of the product is the best.Compared with the film prepared by E51 and E44,the boiling resistance of the film prepared by E20,has a evident superiority.Therefore,E20 should be preferred to prepare a series of waterborne epoxy phosphate emulsions with lower epoxy values.At the same time,combining the higher and lower epoxy product and their properties of the film,it can be expected that the complementary properties of each series' films are more conducive to prepare a coating film with better overall performance,and is more conducive to industrial promotion and application.(3)Based on the preparation and performance study of the two series of product prepared,in chapters 2 and 3,by two series of reactants with higher epoxy values(E51 and E44)and with lower epoxy value(E20).In this part,E51 and E20 were selected,because of their better overall performances and the product was prepared using the mixture of E20 and E51 by self-emulsification method.The conformations of the product were determined by FTIR.The effects of it on the film properties(like coating adhesion,hardness and water resistance)were studied,what is different ratios of reactants in the same series.The conclusions were as below:For E51 and E20,the emulsions with good stability can be composed by the method of self emulsification when the molar ratio of epoxy group to hydroxyl of the phosphate is within a certain range.Meanwhile,the synthetic performance of the product is the best,when the mass ratio of E51 to E20 is 3:1.Compared with the product prepared by E51 and E44,the boiling resistance of the film prepared by the mixed reactants,has been ameliorated.Furthermore,compared with the waterborne produce synthesized by E20,the hardness and adhesion of the this series of coatings have also been improved.Therefore,contrasted with the coating of the prior waterborne produce,the comprehensive performance of this product prepared by the mixed reactants,has been effectively complemented and enhanced.Meanwhile,the product is more conducive to application and promotion in practical applications.(4)Compared with properties,like coating adhesion,hardness and water resistance,of the film prepared in chapters 2,3 and 4.We can concluded that: the synthetic performance of the product,prepared by the mixed reactants of E20 and E51,is the best when the mass ratio of E51 to E20 is 3:1.Meanwhile,the amplification experiment of this product was performed.By studying the properties of the film,like coating adhesion,hardness and water resistance,we can concluded that: the amplification experiment of the product,prepared by the mixed reactants,can be done.Therefore,the product can be popularized in practical application.
