Cold-rolled sheet products are widely used in automobile manufacturing,household appliances,PC,food packaging and other industries due to their excellent mechanical properties and surface quality.And like automobile steel plate not only has strict requirements for steel specification and mechanical performance,but also has high requirements for the corrosion resistance and surface quality of strip steel.The general cold-rolled strip is difficult to meet these requirements,so we need strip processing lines for strip subsequent treatment,such as galvanizing line,continuous annealing line.Galvanized line is the cold-rolled steel coil through the unwinding,straightening,cleaning,annealing,galvanizing,finishing,trimming,oiling,coiling and other processes on the strip surface plating a layer of zinc to play the role of anti-corrosion.The galvanized steel strip needs to go through the skin pass mill to improve the mechanical properties and surface quality,so the skin pass mill has become an indispensable equipment of galvanizing line,and the control effect of skin pass mill has also become an important factor affecting the mechanical properties and surface quality of cold-rolled galvanized sheet.This paper designs and develops a set of skin pass mill control system,according to the requirements of the galvanizing line and the actual situation of the machine equipment,the realization mode and the function of the control system are determined.The design process includes the hardware design: the hardware composition of the control system and the overall hardware system design;software design: the development of skin pass mill control application programs,including elongation control,HGC(Hydraulic Gap Control,divided into gap position control,roll tilt control,roll force control,difference force control),bending force control,rolling lubrication control,tension control and so on;human-machine interface(HMI)design: mainly divided into operation screens achieved by software and operation panels achieved by electrical components.The rolling force model is studied in this paper,and the predicted rolling force is calculated in the case of the target elongation and other running parameters.In this paper,through analysis of the mechanism of strip rolling model,identify the main factors influencing the rolling force,then with these factors as input variables,rolling force as output variable,set up the artificial neural network model,and train the neural network with the production process data from the field.This paper use MATLAB software and neural network toolbox to conduct neural network modeling training and analysis to obtain the simulation results of the model.This control system has been put into operation and the operation is stable,the functions meet the actual production requirements.Hardware design of control system use general products,software design structure is clear,easy to expand to other systems,lay the foundation for similar systems in the future.The in-depth study of the rolling force prediction provides a new way for the optimization control of the elongation basedon rolling force.
