Nowadays there are lots of old buildings in our country, these buildings covers an area of large scale,extensive use of the crowd. However, many of the old buildings need to be processed because of structural safety and other aspects of normal use can't meet the requirements of modern society's. Today's deal of old buildings are generally divided into three, that repair, reform and demolition. But in the choice of treatment mode, so far there is no systematic, standardized and scientific method. Thus resulting in China's indiscriminate demolition of unauthorized construction is becoming more and more serious. In such a case,it is very necessary to set up a scientific and rational approach to select the method of old buildings, also has a huge economic and social significance.This article used analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to analyze the old buildings. Establish a systematic approach to treatment selection of old buildings, in order to verify the accuracy and science of this method.it is applied to the actual engineering.The following main problems exist in the treatment of old buildings. Is it necessary to carry out the processing of old buildings,what is the most important to the selection of treatment scheme of old buildings,and which approach should be chosen. The work and conclusions of this paper have done in view of the above problems are as follows.(1)To study the old buildings in our country,Classification of old buildings,in order to determine the main body of this paper. Distinguish the difference between the different treatments of old buildings.and analysis which is the main factors to consider when dealing with old buildings in contemporary society. Through these studies can obtain the systematic, objective cognitive to the old buildings.(2)The AHP is applied to the study of the old buildings. Establish a hierarchy model analysis for the prevalence of old buildings in our country, including the target layer, index layer. The index layer which is the Influence factors to the old buildings, divided into criterion layer and sub criteria layer, criterion layer contains four factors, sub-criteria layer contains 15 factors. Through expert investigation to establish the judgment matrix, and to calculate. Eventually get all the influencing factors in order of importance.So we can see what factors can select for old buildings play a decisive role in handling.(3)The constructed model is applied to the Chengde city sports school dormitory building engineering, According to the specific circumstances of certain modifications to the model, Modified model including the target layer, index layer and program layer. The index layer is divided into criterion layer and sub-criterion layer, criterion layer contains 4 factors, sub-criterion layer contains 13 factors. Constructing judgment matrix of the whole model and calculation,got all the influence factors of importance. And the use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for analysis,final results of the most reasonable option. The results show, The method used herein are practical and reasonable.
