Evaluation Research On The Ecological Construction Of Small Towns In QingYuan County

Developing a small town is the inevitable choice of constructing the urbanization with Chinese characteristics. The small towns, whose development acts as the objective requirement for narrowing the gap between the city and the countryside and realizing the harmonious development between them, are the bridges and bonds between the city and the countryside. In recent years, many problems have arisen along with the rapid development of the small towns, of which the most outstanding is the gradual deterioration of the ecological environment. To some extent, whether the problem of the ecological protection can be coped appropriately or not limits the process of Chinese urbanization. Consequently, the protection of the ecological environment plays a very important role in realizing the sustainable development of the small town. In the process of urbanization, the construction of small towns is the inevitable way of social development. Aim at solving the existing problems during the construction, break through the traditional mode of development of small towns, keep the sustainable development of small towns, base the construction of small towns on ecology, apply the modern science and technology and administration methods, construct and maintain the beautiful ecological environment, develop the efficient ecology-oriented economy, fundamentally solve the problem of balancing the environment, resources, population and economy simultaneously, realize the sustainable development of the small towns.In the part of preface of the first chapter, the current development of the small town in China is analyzed, the research results made by the specialists from home and abroad and current construction situation is listed and the major problems worthy of attention and valuable experience worthy of reference is preliminarily introduced. Eventually the contents, methods and framework of the research is briefly introduced. In the second chapter, the concept of small towns and ecological construction and the meaning of ecological small towns is expounded. The theoretical basis and subject classification concerning the current construction of small towns is introduced. Different relevant theories during the process of small town construction are analyzed. In the third chapter, the problems of ecology and environmental protection during the construction of small towns is deeply analyzed. In combination with the objectives and principles of small town ecological construction, the channels and contents of small town ecological construction is discussed. In the fourth chapter, through analyzing the present situation of the ecological construction of Qingyuan County, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of contrasts, Qingyuan County by the concept of ecological construction are put forward.
