In recent years, the city population have a rapid growth, city construction like a raging fire, many storied buildings instead of original the courtyard space, and the Chinese traditional courtyard space of is the most basic form of Chinese traditional culture, but also the concrete manifestation form, at the same time, people also have a high improve about the quality of the living environment requirements gradually, this requires that building designers begin to pay attention to regression landscape image about the courtyard space. This paper aims at the phenomenon about the deletion of the landscape image about courtyard space in contemporary society, through the analysis of the landscape image about the traditional courtyard space, then to discusse the construction mode of the landscape image about the traditional courtyard space, and analysis of the contemporary social needs of the courtyard landscape, at the same time, this paper summarize the expression pathway about the courtyard landscape image design. Starting from the concept of landscape image, according to the linguistic theory, and combining expression with the concept design, then obtain a set of methods to apply the contemporary social living mode, then, associated with the landscape image about the traditional courtyard space design concept, creat a new practice in contemporary architectural space, to provide a reference for the future design.
