The Contemporary Expo Building Material Tectonic Express Research

The current expo is not only the preaching station for the countries all over the world to show off their history civilization and lastest technology, but also the experiment site for the world’s leading architects in the different classes and schools. All sorts of design ideas and architecture concepts collide and communicate with each other, which make the Expo the window to watch the architecture trends.In that case, it is rather says the buildings in the world expo, more exactly than the world expo of the buildings. The thoughts of "material" and the thoughts of the "form" can make the fascinating and brilliant sparkles through out the Expo.For a long time, Architecture designin china is under the influence of the thoughts of "form"-style, which gradually become the plagiarism means and get deluged. The same founction plan can adopt and copy different styles. That is the reason why the "form" began to be questioned and controversy. This year, tectonic and its corresponding theory is introduced into China form the foreign country which can be used as the tool to criticize the style to a certain extent and also be widely accepted by Chinese architects.As the basic elements of the tectonic theory, building materials play a crucial and significant role in the architecture design of the world expo building. This dissertation is make the tectonic expression of the building materials in the world expo as the breakthrough point of the entire article, by the means of sorting and analysising the Expo buildings. It can be summed up that the features for the tendency of the the building materials’ development. These mainly features are as following: First, what have change in the material’s tectonic expression of the expo buildings? Second, what kinds of the principles is controlling the material’s tectonic expression of the expo buildings? Third, what kind of the influence can the material’s tectonic expression of the expo buildings bring to the comtemporary architecture? I hope the dissertation can make throwing the sprat effect in my future design creation.This dissertation put the material on the level of the tectonic to discuss and research. On the one hand, it can help architecture to get rid of the relying on the "style" on the cognition and advocate the architecture aesthetic should return to its nature -"material".on the other hand, it can also creat ration aura for the practical application in architecture design by analysising and concluding the material’s tectonic expression of the expo buildings on the level of methodology.
