In recent years, with the rapid development of urban construction, the conflicts of urban construction land have been increasingly prominent and people start to pay more and more attention to the ecological environment construction and sustainable development. Building facade greening is a specific application and practice of sustainable development strategy in construction field, which makes the vertical greening that does not account for space as an important way of urban three-dimensional greening. Therefore, greening of building facade has become one important way to suture rift between man and nature in cities. It can achieve insulation and cooling, energy conservation, air purification, landscaping, noise reduction, greening increase, improvement of microclimate and many other eco-efficiency, being an effective way to solve today's ecological issues that result from urbanization process.Currently, Building facade greening lack of creative concept and technology is very confusing. From the analysis of current building facade greening system, further to simulate and quantify the ecological benefits of building green facade. Trying to grow the relationship between the green facade and architecture for the starting point, in order to find new ideas and methods to combine facade greening and architectural design. At the same time, try to provide a reliable application methods and theory basis for solving current environmental issues.First, from the points of type characteristics, structures, plant engineering, construction techniques and morphology pattern, expands the analysis of nine technology systems based on three trends of low-tech type, curtain-wall type and space type of building facade greening system. This is also the innovative point at technology research.Second, this paper introduces the concept of biological film and discusses the ecological connotation of building green facade. Using Green Wall Reconstruction project of Wismar University of Applied Sciences in Germany as the carrier, it uses Energy-Plus energy simulation software, CFD computational fluid dynamics software and calculation software for U value of U-wert.net material to get the simulation analysis of the energy, physical and regional eco-efficiency of building green facade. This is also another innovation of this paper. And through the simulation results, the eco-efficiency of building green facade has been verified and quantified:building facade greening system can increase 23.7% heat resistance value, save 6.2% of the year-round air conditioning load, reduce indoor temperature by 3-5? in summer, reduce the air velocity by 0.03m/s, maintain the stability of indoor temperature, the year-round indoor temperature can maintain 20.84?, improve the indoor comfort. The temperature around the building can reduce by 0.5-4? after facade green renovation, reduce the wind speed in the region by 0.05m/s, reduce the year-round carbon emission by 7.1%.Through the simulation results, eco-efficiency of building facade greening system play a significant role in cooling and insulation, energy saving, heat island mitigation, improving comfort, maintaining the balance of carbon and oxygen.Finally is the research of the application methods of building green facade design combined with architectural design. Thought the discussion of associative relation between building green facade and architectural space, materials, shape, property and local environment, the design methods of building facade greening combined with technology system, eco-efficiency, architectural design have been summarized. It includes organization of building green facade and space, coordination of building green facade and material, cooperation of building green facade and appearance, feedback of building green facade and function, integration of building green facade and local environment.This research is conducive to strengthening the ecological factors of architectural design, hope it can play a certain role in improving the eco-transformation of architectural design. At the same time, it can provide an effective way to solve current environmental issues.
