Research On Vertical Greening In The Facede Of Commercial Building

It is the indispensable strategy that the constructor installs the vertical greening to gain the benefits from environment,economy,society and beauty-appreciation in the meantime.Also,these benefits have contributed to us for centuries in some districts.Commercial buildings are considered as the center of the city which is full of crowds and communities,especially the commercial complex building’s facade is generally with gray rigid pavement or a large number of glass curtain wall.Which aims to build a feeling of cold.They rarely combine with the green plants.Currently,the popularity of vertical greening is gradually rising in domestic.The level of research and practice are relatively low,it has a narrow range of application and applies into a small scale of the indoor vertical greening.The requirement of beauty-appreciation itself and eco-environment is relatively low.It generally stays in a flat sense of composition and even is directly replaced by plastic plant.The emphasis on project maintenance is inferior,which causes many plants to be messy and withered by the inadequate care and trim.This paper mainly discusses the design and application of vertical greening on the facade of commercial buildings.First of all,it analyzes the practical cases and theoretical research status of vertical greening and summarizes the thoughts and directions of research problems.Then it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of vertical greening,figuring out the concept of vertical greening and commercial buildings.At the same time,this thesis finds out the connection and combination between these two factors to boost the energy-saving of buildings,company’s culture,the urban environment and the sustainable development of society.After that,it deeply analyzes that applying different vertical greening technology to the fa?ade based on principles of designing and practicing and strategies in commercial buildings.Summing up the elements of vertical greening plants and the principle of designing and matching the plants.Finally,it will apply the practice of vertical greening in the reality.Which aims to offer some suggestions for promotion and practice.It will play more important role and gain more ecological and economic benefits in the application of commercial buildings.It will realize the value of the academic thesis as well.Based on this research,the author believes that it is extremely necessary to improve the eco-environment and consuming experience of the central area.Vertical greening is a delicate and balancing integration by the form and function,practicality and imagination,nature and technology,biological and chemical,accuracy and free growth.Which could create a large amount of ecological and economical walls by various plants.It will become a cure for further development of city.We hope that the government would pay more attention to the investment of vertical greening,encourage the development of new technologies and introduce more supportive policies.It is also expected that the researchers from art design,architecture,landscape design,plants,materials and other subjects will focus more on the "vertical garden".
