Ship model tank test rised in the1870 s for ship model testing basin, and has become a device hydrodynamic experiments,and the most widely used is the test tank ship model towing tank. Ship model towing test is the ship model towed by electric trailer, its purpose is to understand the movement of ships, speed, propulsion power and other properties. In the experiment of dragging the ship model, ship models can produce a variety of data in the pool. These data analysis ship model performance, control and motion characteristics of the ship model ship model plays an important role. Traditional ship model towing tank test platform data acquisition system to collect data there is often a single, real-time is not strong, data storage playback difficulties, scalability and restricted issues. With the rise of virtual instrument technology, using LabVIEW software to build data acquisition system solves the problems of traditional data acquisition system. This thesis study design real-time data acquisition system based on LabVIEW ship model experimental tank.In this thesis, wave-piercing catamaran sinks prototype(ship model) sailing automation systems LabVIEW data acquisition system for the study. The data acquisition system not only can run independently of the other ship models, ship model can also be used with specific control system to scale ship model functions. In the wave-piercing catamaran sinks prototype(Boat) sailing automation systems, real-time data acquisition system based on LabVIEW has played a crucial role in the series DSP control system, servo control system and other subsystems in the process. The system uses the current widely-used virtual instrument technology, select National Instruments(NI) is LabVIEW software system construction, and real-time control system with DSP TMS320F2812-DSP chip for data transfer. Ship model real-time navigational data is collected by gyroscopes and other sensors through the serial port to the controller collection.The data acquisition system is abundant on TMS320F2812-DSP chip resources, higher data processing capability and a powerful graphical programming LabVIEW virtual instrument development platform combined and will be collected through the Ethernet interface of the ship model in real-time data transfer to PC machine, real-time system of data collection, analysis, data processing, storage, graphical data display and playback functions.This thesis also describes the design and implementation of the entire wave-piercing catamaran sailing prototype tank automatic control system, and by a large number of field experiments conducted data analysis and post finishing, verify the realization of the entire voyage anti-rolling effect automatic control system, but also verify real-time data acquisition system based on LabVIEW ship model towing tank test platform completed the voyage automatic control system tasks, with good theoretical and practical significance for ship model experimental tank of real-time data acquisition.
