Research On The BIM-based Estimating Method Of Construction Operation Time

Schedule management is an important part of the project management, its rationality have a significant impact on the project. The preparation of traditional construction project schedule mostly by the planning staff who have many years of work experience to complete, especially the large and complex projects, the preparation of its schedule have a greater dependence to experience, thus greater subjectivity is during the planning process, and the greater uncertainty is compiled the results, the guidance of construction schedule is difficult to be assured. The main task of the construction schedule is including work breakdown structure, the logic analysis of process and estimated the construction operation time, research on BIM-based method of estimated the construction operation time can help to improve the accuracy of job duration and project duration, and enhance the guidance of schedule on-site, which has a great of significance.The problems mentioned in this thesis were solved by the methods of literature review, inference and analysis. The object of study is including BIM technology, schedule planning, estimated the construction operation time, IFC standards and so on. Firstly, the thesis research, analysis and collate the information which is necessary to determine the duration and construction quota consumption. Then expand IFC entity in the estimated operating time aspects of progress management, and determine the processes of IFC-based data extraction and integration. Finally, design the system to estimated operating time on the basis of previous studies, provide a way to achieve the estimated operating time and help revise corporate construction quota, increase the level of prepared schedule, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
