Rubber Bladder Hydroforming Process(RBHP), as one of the typical process of sheet metal forming in the field of aviation manufacturing, which has the advantages of good quality, high efficiency, low cost, suitable for many varieties and small serial production. However, during traditional RBHP process, a large number of technical data consisted of many standard, manuals, specifications, and personal experience data need to be queried, which has high requirement on the technical process of design quality. And consequently, the defects such as wrinkling and rupture appear in the workpieces, resulting in the quality not neat, low working efficiency during the product process, which is detrimental to technology application and development of RBHP.Now, high-speed development of computer technology and digital technology have become the inevitable trend of manufacturing development during the process of sheet metal pieces of digital manufacturing, the application of digital RBHP knowledge also become inevitable. To realize the 3D model of digital examination mode insteading of the traditional personnel process examination method, improve the intelligent level of rubber bladder hydroforming technology and enable designers to design meets the requirements of parts faster and more reasonable, using CAA for the secondary development of CATIA under the environment of CATIA software, RBHP review system was developed and the components of the rubber bladder hydroforming part was reviewed. The technological characteristics of sheet metal parts were analyzed to connect CATIA with the knowledge database going by extract the feature information sheet metal parts by examining the characteristic of the rubber parts respectively and completing the examination of rubber bladder forming sheet metal parts. The production cycle of parts were greatly shorten, improving the economic efficiency of the production of enterprises.Finally, the reliability and stability of system was verified through the finite element simulation and experiment of several typical parts of aviation rubber bladder hydroforming.
