Three parallel internal translational gear reducer is a new small teeth difference reducer.It was designed based on three-ring reducer working principle, it also has a large reduction ratio,load capacity, the volume is relatively small, compact structure, wide power range and other characteristics.However, three parallel internal translational gear reducer is currently still in the research stage, the design and manufacture of theory is not perfect and mature. To solve these problems, a comprehensive, in-depth kinetic analysis for three parallel internal translational gear reducer is necessary. There is an urgent need to establish a dynamic model which can basically reflect the three parallel internal translational gear reducer actual situation,in theory, to provide strong guidance for the reducer to improve its overall performance and to play its significant advantages in all aspects.Other hand because of the relatively backward in basic raw materials manufacturing, high-precision high-performance heat treatment technology and processing equipment and manufacturing processes,so that the forces of the key parts of the new reducer and reliability analysis for the reducer has also become a concern points.This paper start the following work based on the analysis of the infrastructure and the driving principle of the reducer:(1) considering the gear meshing stiffness and bearing stiffness influence on the system dynamics,established the simulation model of dynamic motion of gear reducer based on the multibody system transfer matrix method,and according to the transfer equation and transfer matrix programmed in MATLAB to solving the natural frequencies of the reducer simulation model.(2)It was performed on application of 3d software, called as Solid Works, that 3d construction, assembly and interference checking of reducer virtual prototype. According to the result, it got the reasonable structure and lay the foundation for subsequent simulation of virtual prototype.(3) it was performed on analysis software of finite element, called as ANSYS, that modal analysis, determination of natural frequencies and corresponding vibration mode. And the result was verified by compared with theoretical value which provide the important basis for avoiding the occurrence of system resonance.(4) it was performed on the software, called as Adams, that kinematics simulation analysis for virtual prototype of reducer.Simulation result indicated that the virtual prototype had a reasonable structure and assembly and the reduction ratio and gear meshing force were believed to be correct by verified. It demonstrated validity of motion simulation and availability of simulation result.Besides it got the force bearing status of the input shaft vs the hinge axis according to the motion simulation result.(5)On the basis of the calculation theory and simulation results,reliability of critical parts were analyzed according to the interference theory of distribution of stress vs strength. It got the mechanical property and stress effect of component by the size of the input force based on that degree of reliability reached their standard. What's more, it got the distribution diagram of the stress and deformation for the parts.
