The centrifugal pumps for solid-liquid two-phase fluids are widely used in industry like mining, metallurgy, electric power and so on. In the actual work process, vibration is an important factor what makes the pump failure and life become short. The impeller of centrifugal pump for solid-liquid two-phase fluids is the main overflow part, and the impact to pump because of the fluid inside should be pay attention to. So the numerical simulation of the flow field for the centrifugal pump for solid-liquid two-phase fluids has been done in this paper.And has sdutied the vibration response characteristics and occurrence regularity of the impeller under the fluid excitation.The three dimensional numerical models of the impeller of centrifugal pumps for solid-liquid two-phase fluids and flow channel in spiral case and impeller are constructed by using Pro/E software. The structured grids of the models of the flow channel in volute and impeller are obtained by using ICEM-CFD software. The three dimensional numerical simulation to the flow channel in pump is carried out by using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software CFX, and carried out the impeller's Stress Distributing Identical when the flow field tend to be steady. Import the model of impeller into finite element software Ansys Workbench to mesh.Then load the fluid analysis result to the impeller to carried out the stress distributing identical of the impeller. And make the modal analysis of the impeller under prestress to get the first five natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes,then the vibration response laws of the impeller are carried out,and the rationalization proposals to reduce the vibration of the impeller are given.Finally, change the number of blades to do the same analysis, and the resonance of impeller is analyzed contrastively. Find that changing numbers of impeller blades can effectively reduce the vibration of the impeller,and avoid the vibration frequency and prevent the occurrence of resonance.The study in this paper has great significance for actual projects,these results can also serve as a helpful guide to the vibration study of other rotating components.
