As the MEMS technology development continuously, the power consumption of wireless sensor reduced constantly, and the low-power ZigBee wireless communication technology is now widely applicated, the micro energy supply system which associated with them arouse the attention from the researchers increasingly. We know that mechanical vibration energy is the energy of a universal existence in nature, this paper study on the electricity generation by using mechanical vibration energy. Studies have shown that using the Magnetically controlled Shape Memory Alloy(MSMA) inverse effect, which is called the Villari effect, could convert the vibrational energy into electrical energy. And the vibrational energy widely exists in the nature. To this end, this paper briefly introduces the inverse characteristics of the Magnetically controlled Shape Memory Alloy, projects and implements the vibration generator prototype according to the performance of the Magnetically controlled Shape Memory Alloy, and then designs a modified vibration generator and forms a complete set of testing equipment.First of all, the paper introduces the background of vibration power generation technology and describes its important theory and practical significance. Also, it presents the present situation and future trends of Vibration generator technology at home and abroad, then determines the direction of the paper.Secondly, the paper states the material properties of MSMA inverse effect, and describes the generating mechanism of the vibration generator based on the inverse effect. Therefore, a mathematic model is established, and MATLAB software is used to simulate the mathematic model. The simulation results support the feasibility in theory that it can design the vibration generator based on the MSMA inverse characteristics.Thirdly, the paper which is based on the inverse characteristic of MSMA and mechanism of vibration generator designs two vibration generators. Determining the selected materials that are made vibration generators, excitation mode, the number of turns of the induction coil, magnetic circuits and clamping devices. Based on the finite element analysis software(ANSYS 14.0), a theoretical analysis and mathematical calculations is made to achieve the electromagnetic simulation of two the vibration generators. The simulation results show the design of two vibration generators can meet the design requirements.Then, it designs the matching detection systems based on the MSMA material properties and the characteristics of the vibration generator. The detection system can detect the work temperature of MSMA material, the vibration exciting force, the induced voltage and the displacement of material. The test results are eventually transferred from the lower machine to the upper computer use serial communication interface to store and display. With prototype has carried on the related experiment, the results also proved the correctness and rationalization of the mathematical model, and provide a basis for the coming research.Finally, the research results are summarized, pointing out the improvement aspects and the direction for the next step of the vibration generator design research based on the Villari effect in this paper.
