This paper is focused on Chongqing port container transport channel present situation and the future,in view of the existing problems and shortcomings,take a combination of qualitative and quantitative way,a series of comprehensive optimization scheme is proposed.First,by referring to the foreign typical port transport channel development experience,the characteristics of three kinds of waterway,highway,railway transportation,points out that we should give full play to the comparative advantages of various modes of transport,and accelerate the development of multimodal transport.Second,the status of the development of Chongqing port container transport is analyzed,including the distribution of the port,the distribution of the Operation quantity and the supply of the hinterland,etc.Third,a comprehensive qualitative analysis from the national strategic planning,regional development planning,industrialization stage characteristics,etc.,points out the basic trend of the container port in Chongqing transport continues to grow in the future;meanwhile,based on the qualitative prediction,the elastic coefficient method to quantitatively predict,2020,2025 Chongqing port container throughput respectively will reach 192 million TEUs and 338 million TEUs.Fourth,a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and the lack of Chongqing port container collection and distribution channels,and on this basis,we propose optimization waterways,railways,road transport solutions.Shipping channel,mainly to solve the problem of insufficient capacity of the Three Gorges shiplock and upgrade Yangtze River Waterway.Railways,the focus to solve the size of the network,enter the port rail,internal connections and expansion and reconstruction,etc.Roads,mainly need to solve the "last kilometer" problem,improve the level of convergence of the integrated transport system.
