Before the missile launch, the initial azimuth of inertial device of the control system needs aligned, the azimuth benchmark measured accurately is passed to the inertial system via a set of high precision aiming equipment. The orientation of the azimuth sensitive axis of the initial device in the missile guidance system is determined by means of a rectangular prism, rectangular prism also known as aiming base. Ridge of inertial platform aimed prism has strict requirements of its position relative to reference hexahedral of the inertial navigation system, the error of not level error between ridge line and the ground plane, not perpendicular or parallel error between the ridge line and hexahedral, error of the two affect the aimed accuracy directly. In the assembling process of prismatic components, installation accuracy and image quality of prismatic components will impact testing errors.Present testing method of the prism installation error, its automatic degree is low, precision error is high, time-consuming. Through studying the calibration model of the right angle prism of inertial measurement system, this paper put forward a new test method using prism assembly, designed automatic test system. Photoelectric autocollimator of the system use linear array CCD as light-sensitive element, use CPLD to generate driver timing CCD required. The output signal of CCD is processed by two- value method, which improves the accuracy of the test, then use the STM32 to process signal and to calculate angle value. Finally, the signal is transmitted to the computer through the 422-bus, and calculate the error value of the prism installation using the test software. This paper also analyzes the factors that affect the installation accuracy and imaging quality of the prism assembly, and puts forward the method of improving the assembly process.The scenario put forward a prism tester, the whole measuring process is fast and simple, and the measuring accuracy is high. After testing, the automatic test method of prism component installation error can make calibration stability within limits,?( non-parallelism) angle less than2 ",?(non- levelness)less than 3 ", The precision index is far higher than the prism installation calibration error measured by electronic theodolite.
