The video monitoring system of the expressway can provide the most dire ct and complete traffic situation, which helps the managers to control the traffi c.This paper studies to reduce differences, convenient for unified network video standard,greatly improve the video management ability and work efficiency.The thesis mainly tells a solution to realizing the digital video network int erconnection based on digital video encoding and decoding standard of H264, a ccording to the actual situation of construction and management by Tianjin Exp ressway Group. Basing on the development and application trend of video code c technology, the author does a comprehensive analysis and study about a lot of mainstream video network standards and technology specification. The requir ement and actual need of the network video monitoring system has been consi dered. The system includes video network framework and interconnection struct ure, equipment codec technology requirements, a series of related requirements,r equirements of packaging / transmission format specification for video stream, which makes sure of the consistency of the network transmission of video stre am, unified standard video control, transmission process and protocol interface and realizing the multilevel interconnection between each video system platform,as well as between video equipment and video system platform of information exchange.According to the technical requirements, the system needs to develop a scheme of video network system and the test platform, and set up a system of testing environment, interconnection, intercommunication and the detection of different manufacturers encoding and decoding apparatus between mutual contro ls.This requirement is helpful to comprehensive utilization of various resourc es at all levels of video monitoring system, networking, and realizing unified s pecification. On the other hand, it also helps develop the video management an d work efficiency. It can be good for maintenance of expressway, saving the p roject investment and the cost of the construction and being used for guiding f uture Tianjin expressway networking related construction projects.
