The light source applied in the photoelectric signal detection plays an important part in the optical detection system or the communication system, but the optical signal generator is very expensive in the market, at the same time, the function is single.Based on the existing foundation, precision signal source with arbitrary waveform is researched. It has important theoretical significance and is full of practical value. The following works has been done:1?Overall program of the light source applied in the photoelectric signal detection is designed. Based on the talking basic performance requirements and the basic principle of the light source, the overall program is proposed.2?Designing the signal generation and drives unit circuit. This unit has included the ARM control unit, the CPLD timing unit, DA converting and driving unit and some others assistant units.3?The signal generation software is designed. The PC interface and control structures, the data generating software of the PC and the dominated have been included in this unit.4?The accuracy and the reliability of the entire system has been tested. Many experiments including in the lab and outside has been done. Then the experimental results show that the system has the advantages of high precision, easy operating.
