In recent years,with the application of telemetry and telecontrol technoloy of beacons,the way of monitoring to beacons has improved largely from the original entirely artificial patrol boats to digitization which not only greatly improve the efficiency of monitoring beacons and parameters,but also has saved considerable people,material and financial resources of the related management department of Waterway Bureau.If the efficiency can be improved further,then the management of beacons could be released ulteriorly,such as judging whether the beacon need to be replaced can be completed automatically by the system when the beacon's position was changed due to all kinds of external factors.For this,the technology of accurately checking the position of beacons automatically in this text can solve the problem above.The system of accurately checking beacons' positions automatically is based on the traditional telemetry and telecontrol system of beacons which adds my own database of electronic river charts and observation system for water level of Waterway Bureau into.This system can make judgement to beacons more efficiently which lead the efficiency of relative workmen of Waterway Bureau to a higher level.Firstly,the beacon types as well as their respective role in the channel and the related scale information of channel are introduced.According to those,the allocation principles of AIDS to navigation in the inland waterway are summed up.Then,the traditional telemetry and telecontrol system of beacons is recommended in detail in this text to explain how the system appears to work.Some useful information can be derived from the traditional system which takes the existed system of Waterway Bureau for example.Second,the content and data query principle of the electronic navigation chart has been carried on the detailed analysis,as in the Yangtze river,the standards on the electronic navigation chart must abide by the relevant departments(CJ-57 standards),which is based on S-57 international standard,so in this paper,so the S-57 standard will be summarized,and its theoretical data model and data structure will be focused on,combining the ISO8211 lib packaging standards,S-57 format of data is introduced how to convert to ENC format of data between computer systems,with a final SENC format of the data displayed on the electronic navigation chart display system on which water depth data was shown in the electronic channel depth.Then,real-time water level in the place of specified beacons will be fetched from the hydrographic water level observation system.With real-time water level applied on electronic navigation chart,the actual depth of AIDS to navigation can be carried out automatically by this system.Related key technologies used in this system will be introduced,including the way of how the required data was accessed,how the water depth was handled automatically.Finally,the principles of AIDS to navigation with cloth which used to establish the check rules of beacons were summarized according to the "inland river navigation standard",the check rules of beacons were used to make judgement whether the AIDS to navigation was safe enough for working of vessels or not,and if not,alarm will output.
