Connecting rod bushing is an important component of connecting rod bushing piston and connecting rod, the burden of the inertial force and the outbreak of the pressure cylinder connecting rod. Connecting rod bushing is one of the key friction pair in engine, which working condition is so bad that there is a very important theoretical significance and practical value to analysis its lubrication performance.This paper sets up connecting rod bushing three dimensional hydrodynamic lubrication model,The effect of rectangular groove texture on the lubrication performance of liner is analyzed by making use of the CFD method in the three dimensional flow field. Surface textures of rectangular grooves of axisymmetric distribution are designed on one sliding bearing inner surfaces. A dynamic pressure lubrication model of radial sliding bearing is set up based on Reynolds-equation. The influence of texture parameters on the bearing capacity and friction coefficient of sliding bearing is researched.The results show that connecting rod bushing with rectangular grooves has better bearing performance,the load capacity increases with the increase of the number of the texture, the position of the texture has great influence on the oil film pressure, and the reasonable selection of parameters can obviously improve the lubrication performance of the bearing. Groove texture can store a certain amount of lubricating oil,bushing oil flow rate decreases with the increase of the number of rectangular grooves.Sliding bearing with rectangular grooves has better bearing performance, rectangular grooves can not obviously reduce the friction coefficient. The load capacity increases with the increase of the width of the texture, but also the corresponding frictional resistance increases. There is an optimal width of texture that let the bearing can obtain a larger bearing capacity under the smaller friction force. The parameters of the rectangular groove have important influence on the lubrication performance of the bearing, and the reasonable selection of parameters can obviously improve the lubrication performance of the bearing.
