Research On Spatial Allocation Of Basic Education Resources In Suzhou Against The Background Of Urban-rural Integration

As the most important core component of public service products,the basic education resources are the material guarantee for the urban and rural residents to enjoy equal educational services.The fair and balanced allocation of basic education resources is the key to narrow the educational gap between urban and rural residents and to ensure rural residents' sharing development.Academic research on the spatial configuration of urban and rural resources mostly focused on to the school as studying object,some others are mainly concentrated in school resources essential factor and the running mechanism.Majority study lacked of spatial configuration of resources reasonable and fair.With the advance of urban-rural integration,Suzhou basic education resources faces many new challenges: economic development gradient influencing change of population,intensified urban education resources shortage.Urban and rural residents demand for quality education resources caused by the choice of heat and intensifies the city lack of educational resources.At the background of urban-rural integration,how to equally allocate the education resources has become the top priority for Suzhou.The author will take Suzhou for example,using case-analysis and Arc GIS to research on the spatial configuration of basic education resources in Suzhou and elements which affect its spatial allocation so as to find out the root of unequal allocation.Based on data collected from middle and primary school in 62 different areas,the author will build a index system to evaluate the rationality of spatial configuration of basic education resources in Suzhou and give grades to rank the equality and effectiveness of basic education.According to the grades,the author will list the advantages and disadvantages of spatial configuration.Find out the different levels of the basic education resources in Suzhou,and put it into the map.According to the primary school resources “ L-shaped” high score axis structure,junior high school resources “double C shape”low score axis structure,the basic education resources“ one axis,two wings and four node”spatial distribution feature.And design a new path to reallocate educational resources in Suzhou.
