Guigang shipping hub as the ninth step of the plan of comprehensive utilization of Yujiang,is also the second channel of Xijiang shipping route from Nanning to Wuzhou.It is located in the upstream of Guigang urban which is located in the middle of Yujiang. And currently it is a water conservancy project of water comprehensive utlization with the mainly task in shipping and power supplement. Now it has the first ship lock as its main navigation structure and the new second ship lock which is the taget of the research. In the design and layout of ship lock in a multi line, the water transport size of one lock will have influence on the other lock, navigation flow condition at the entrance area of the aprroach channel is complex. In order to ensure the safety of the navigation ships,ship model measurement experiments are gonna to carry out to help design and provide the route of the ship.Objective measurement of the ship model trajectory measurement system in this paper,is the scale model of the approch channel and entrance area of the second line shiplock in the Guigang shipping hub.To realize automatic measurement for the ship model trajectory and its drift angle, a kind of 2D laser scanner based real-time trajectory measurement system for sailing ship model is proposed. The system consists of six main components: 2D laser scanner, 3D electronic compass, DSP module, the cylindrical target,wireless communication module, data acquisition and process software. First of all, the working principle and the usage of the main measurement equipments in this system are studied, and the performance parameters of the equipment are tested. Then, this paper focuses on the research of the hardware of the system, and has realized the hardware assembly of the system host computer and the lower computer measurement station. And, according to the specific requirements of the system data communication and processing, the system software architecture and compilation have been completed. Finally, to verify the performance of the measurement system, the on-site measurement experiments have been taken. The results of experiments show that the measurement system can satisfy the accuracy requirements of the test site, which is ±5mm, in a measurement range of 40 meters, and it can map out the trajectory accurately, and that provides a good experiment method for detection and control of ship model navigation test.
