As a result of the need of urban landscape and architectural features, novel structure grows increasingly, high-rise building conjoined structure is one of the most typical category. The characteristics of this kind of structure system is conjoined parts located in high altitude, main body and conjoined structure form the strong space coupling effect, its mechanical performance is much more complicated than the average layer structure.ZhengDing comprehensive service center project, at the top of the tall building is 75.6 meters large span conjoined steel truss structure, conjoined width 14.45 meters, conjoined structure lateral cantilever length 7.45 meters. This high-level conjoined building structure is complex, has many overrun, plane and vertical irregular. Its big span conjoined structure dynamic response under seismic action is stronger, torsion effect is obvious; In addition, the engineering in open field, structure size is sensitive to wind load. In this paper, ZhengDing comprehensive service center engineering large-span conjoined structure seismic wind resistance performance was analyzed, the main work is as follows:(1) To determine the steel truss connecting with rigid connection on both ends of the tower.(2) Using SATWE software respectively to single pylon structure model and the twin towers conjoined structure model in structural natural vibration characteristics and modal analysis, and compared the calculated results, both are in good agreement; SATWE and SAP2000 software tools were used respectively to analyzed the high-level conjoined structure seismic performance, through the elastic & elastic-plastic time history analysis under the action of earthquake, to study the seismic dynamic response rules of conjoined structure, find out the seismic weak link structure, and puts forward the corresponding strengthening measures.(3) This project has carried on the wind tunnel test of high-level conjoined structure, got the wind pressure distributions and local position of maximum when wind load applied to high-level conjoined structure, provide suggestions on the wind load value for engineering design.
