With the technology of national brand automobile of China improved,the export issue has become a hot topic discussed by people.As side impact in traffic accidents is always at the high proportion,casualties are heavy.It is necessary to evaluate different national rules against the side impact for research.Passenger compartment is the main structure to withstand side impact forces,the main part of which plays an important role for carrying and distributing side impact load.Correct layout of key components ? structure,reasonable path of collision force are conducive to guiding the dispersion and absorption of collision energy,can also help to protect the occupant's safety.In this paper,SUV(Sports Utility Vehicle)model was selected as the simulation object,the model of side impact is established depending on different side impact evaluation procedures and the reliability of the models was verified.Different forms of the vehicles was analyzed to get the weak areas of vehicles.In order to improve the performance of vehicle body side impact,the improvement of structure,material,wall thickness and arrangement of main bearing part in the side walls in different weak regions has been put forward.The main contents are as follows:1?The CAD models of passenger vehicles were geometric cleaning and element dispersed.Completing the set of material and mechanical properties of components,based on the mechanical properties of the material.According to the standard of modeling,to complete the assembly of each subsystem in the whole vehicle model forming in a real simulation of the motion relationship between pairs of motion.2?According to different evaluation procedures,including China 's C-NCAP,the European Euro-NCAP and US IIHS,building a simulation platform for the side impact simulation of movable barrier,setting related simulation parameters.Defining the output and contact types of the cross section force of the main bearing components to complete the model debugging,after obtained the results,compared The simulation results and real test data to verify the reliability of the model.Making comparative analysis of the deformation mode and deformation of the car body to complete the performance of the same models under different evaluation procedures.3?Proposing the structure of the target vehicle side collision,the weak area of the vehicle body is optimized according to the different side impact assessment procedures with the measuring point of the selected value to meet the target requirements.Ensuring the reasonable of body energy conversion,key component arrangement.Summarizing the optimization method on completion of the same models under different evaluation rules optimization theory and method of vehicle development.4?Based on the THUMS mannequin's unique advantages,in the optimization of the side impact simulation model analyzing the injury of THUMS body.Making a systematic research on the damage mechanism of the human body putting the THUMS model of the human body damage back to the body structure.In order to verify the accuracy of the target value.
