Product innovation is the key to the survival of the enterprise in the product market competition. The function analysis is the most important one in the process of product innovation design. Conflict resolution process based on the principle of TRIZ as the research background, combined with the modern design theory and method, this paper establishes the unified technical system function analysis model and further study the determining method of key components of technology system and expression method and reasoning technology of case knowledge based on the component unit. This study enhances the operability for eliminating adverse effects of technical systems, associating the functional analysis process with the process of solving adverse effects, which helps product designers achieve product innovation with high efficiency and high quality, and has an important value for enterprises to improve the capability of independent innovation.This paper systematically summarizes the research status of product innovation design, conceptual design, the theory of TRIZ and functional analysis, and deeply studies the design theory and method of related fields. It proposed the key to realize the product innovation is to find out the key adverse effects in the technical system and to solve the adverse effects. Based on this idea, this paper made an in-depth study on the inherent relationship between the process of functional analysis and adverse effects, researched on the key technologies for establishing product function information model, the representation and reasoning method of case knowledge. The main research contents of this paper as follows:In product information modeling, based on the functional information model of component unit.This paper makes a deep study on the complex relationship between components and presents using the ENV model to analyze the function relationship between the components and through the integration and the level of weight can effectively determine the key adverse effect component for triggering technical system conflict. It establishes the method and procedure for determining the key adverse effect components based on component unit.In the analysis of ENV model, according to the U-TRIZ theory, this paper determines the properties as the control parameters and evaluation parameters of the ENV model analysis and makes a deep study on component type.The attribute of component type and attribute inference based on Prolog. The theory study, not only improves the function analysis process which based on component unit, makes useful for designers form an effective attention from the perspective of property, and promotes the creation of innovative ideas.In the case knowledge representation, the reasonable representation of knowledge is a prerequisite for effective resolution of adverse effects. From the designers' thinking of solving problem, combined with the ENV model attribute analysis, this paper makes a study on the knowledge of the principle and the knowledge of scientific effect from the point of view of the property and establishes the knowledge expression mechanism based on component unit combined with the determining and solving process of the adverse effects. According to the principle of invention and scientific effect knowledge, designers can directly operate the components, so that TRIZ knowledge can be better applied in the process of resolving adverse effects.In the knowledge reasoning, on the basis of using classic TRIZ to solve the adverse effects, in the form of first order predicate and the Prolog language is used as the carrier, this paper constructs the inventive principle library and the scientific effect library, and realizes the reasoning process of instance knowledge. It is of great significance to save the time of the solving process and improve the design efficiency.In the last, in this paper, taking the innovative design of the thin wall material folding device as an example, through the complete analysis process, the innovative design of the thin wall material folding device is realized. Related invention patents and utility model patents have been published, which verifies the feasibility and validity of the theoretical research of this paper.
