The safety operation of super size ultra high voltage interconnected power grid, needs more efficient operation mechanism and more advanced technical support and needs to achieve scheduling business in the greater coherence and meticulous division of labour. Smart grid scheduling technology support system is an important technical support for power grid operation control and production management. To adapt to the rapid development of State Grid and the needs of safely and stably operating of ultra high voltage power grid, to improve scheduling ability to harness the power and scheduling technical level, and to vigorously promote the standardization of scheduling support system, the brain of smart grid--D5000 system is used-- intelligent dispatching in power system application came into being. D5000 system, as the latest smart grid technology support system, has been achieved very good results and evaluation at the world grid scheduling.This paper identifies the objectives of program and the overall architecture. Hardware architect ure and platform of D5000 system is introduced. I give a thoroughly research on the platform management, data transmission, network communications, user interface, system management and other services provided by existing D5000 system dispatch control system in Baoding power network. According to equipment technology status, developed corresponding of following electric protection remote control technology program, which needs to extend definition in the existing Baoding automation system, achieve following electric protection set value of remote writes and the change, and achieve basic functions of set value district of switch and the set value distance call.Considering the actual situation of Baoding power network, remote control system for relay protection and field operations, D5000 platform of intelligent dispatching system gradually shows t he distance to book value, cutting area, switching pressure plate, and actions such as calling in the distance, and introduces the drawing entities and data Association.Finally, performance and technical specifications of the system are detected. The results show that, the system is performing well in capacity, targets and expand ability. And I give a research on promotion of the social and economic benefits of the analysis, which I can be sure that the design of remote control system for relay protection program is successful, benefits are enormous, and it deserves a further promotion.
