With the innovation of modern industrial technology, the power industry also gradually into the smart grid development phase, the smart substation as a function of the smart grid is the most important node, the related technologies are of great value in theoretical research and engineering application. As part of present technological change fast, smart substation secondary system take the lead in successfully applied in engineering application of smart substation, and has formed the mature model of the engineering application. Because of the high demand for the safe and stable operation of power system for characteristics of smart substation intelligent level is limited, and in order to adapt to the engineering application, along with the new technology matures to build a large number of pilot smart substation, result in the present stage of smart substation secondary system network structure changes greatly. Therefore, how to reasonable design of intelligent substation secondary system network structure is a problem that must be indepth study.This thesis of 220 thousand volt smart substation secondary system network structure is carried on the thorough research. Paper first introduced the smart substation secondary system network system structure of the related technologies and development situation at home and abroad, compared the different secondary system network structure design scheme and its application in engineering. Then in view of the application of several relatively mature network structure design in detail, and has carried on the comprehensive comparative analysis, and then puts forward optimization schemes of three network convergence or four network convergence, then according to these two kinds of optimization scheme can be implemented for research and exploration, design the application of the scheme one network with three layers smart substation secondary system structure, and the possible future of one network with two layers design scheme is discussed. Finally on the basis of 220 thousand volt smart substation project example, on a one network with three layers are basic network architecture of smart substation secondary system, for smart substation secondary system network optimization scheme successful engineering example application model is established, in order to comprehensively verify the rationality and applicability of the optimization scheme.
