The intellectualization of power grid has become a trend in the power supply industry,and has formed a demand for developing an intelligent and environment-friendly power grid in the world.Intelligent substation is the key of constructing smart grid.Intelligent substations equipped with various advanced devices can monitor and control the operation of the power grid in real time,and perform various functions of intelligent adjustment and analysis and decision-making according to the demand.The secondary system configuration of the substation play an important role in the realization of the various advanced functions of the intelligent substation.The network scheme,which is also seen as the "neural network" of the whole intelligent substation,is the most important part.Its running state and operation mode will directly affect the realization of the function of the intelligent substation.Based on the principles of security,flexibility,reliability and applicability,the secondary system of 220 kV Dalian Dongxing intelligent substation is designed,and complete the following results:(1)The overall design of the secondary system of intelligent substation and the configuration scheme of each type of protection automation devices are provided.(2)The advantages and disadvantages of the new electronic transformer are analyzed,and provide the shortcomings of the electronic transformer in the practical application,as well as the selection and optimization schemes for the transformers which is suitable for the new intelligent substation.(3)Based on the common basic network model,two new types of network architectures with good redundancy are evolved.Besides four networking schemes for new intelligent substations are given.The networking plan of the secondary system is decomposed by the AHP algorithm,which can help make qualitative and quantitative decisions for the optimal secondary system networking plan in the 220 kV Dongxing intelligent substation.(4)With the idea of virtual terminal design,virtual terminal configurations is carried out in order to intuitively and clearly display the configuration of GOOSE and SV in the design process of intelligent substation.The paper is aimed at future design and implementation of Smart Substation.
