Study On The Optimization Of Railway Container Transport Process Based On Stochastic Petri Net

Container transportation is a kind of advanced and standard mode of transport developed with the improvement of productivity and the progress of science and technology.It is regarded as ‘a revolution in the history of transport'.With the rapid development of economic globalization,container transportation has become the main mode of modern logistics and international multimodal transportation because it can meet the requirements of rapid,safe and efficient transport of goods.It plays a very important role in promoting economic development and trade prosperity.Container transportation is also an indispensable part of railway freight transportation.China railway container transport has achieved remarkable achievements from 1950 s with a tortuous development.However,in the rapid development at the same time,the operation mode and management level of China railway container transport are relatively backward,workflow is complex,many aspects still use manual ways to complete,error rate is high,the workload is heavy,information sharing is not timely,so the whole operating efficiency is low.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the low efficiency of the business process to improve by carrying out the analysis and research on each link of the business process.In this paper,according to the current situation of China railway container transportation business process,Stochastic Petri net theory is used to build model and to make analysis of it.On this basis,improvement and optimization are made in order to shorten the process time and to enhance the efficiency of the operation.First of all,The business process optimization and modeling methods are introduced in this paper,Petri net theory are selected as a tool for researching according to the characteristics of the railway container transport process.Then,The business process of China railway container transport are analyzed in detail and the corresponding stochastic Petri net model are established to make the effectiveness and performance analysis of it.Finally,aiming at the problems in the actual operation process,The measures of process optimization are summed up according to the business process optimization theory,then the stochastic Petri net models are reestablished according to the business process which has been improved and performance analysis are made again.The average time delay of the optimized model is shortened by comparison.It is proved that the optimization method is effective.
