With rapid development of China's economic,its social and industrial structure have also been adjusted.Reduced demand for railway transport of bulk cargo,under "Internet +" background of the rapid development of e-commerce,a clear trend of social development is the piece goods and express transportation.Development and construction of high-speed rail passenger and freight sub-line,to some extent,the release of the railway transport capacity,rail freight capacity began surplus.Although the railways to compete with other modes of transportation,and social challenges facing the market,but also ushered in the opportunity for the development of railway less-than-carload goods express freight.In the railway less-than-carload goods express freight transportation,the railway freight station as an important production unit,and a key node of logistics and transportation.Freight station is not only a place of assembly and send goods,but also provide the infrastructure for the transport and logistics of goods warehousing,packaging,processing,and distribution activities.Less-than-carload goods express freight railway station layout helps optimize logistics operations during various important processes,and can effectively save the cost of construction investment,help to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cargo transportation.This paper gives an analysis of studies on railway transport of goods abroad,mainly rail freight station layout,optimizing railway transport of express freight transportation network and the organization of fast and efficient rail.Details of the development and status of railway less-than-carload goods in China and abroad,give a statement of the concept and the mode of transport of the traditional less-than-carload goods,presented an innovative concept for railway less-than-carload goods express freight transportation under the background of modern logistics,analyzes its characteristics and functions.Then,give an explanation of the relevant concepts of railway less-than-carload goods express freight transportation station.Based on the five basic attributes of the freight station,the influence factors of the railway less-than-carload goods express freight station planning and layout are derived.And summarizes the China railway less-than-carload goods express freight station should follow the principle of layout plan.According to the commonly used location model analysis was established to transport cost minimum for target function of 0-1 integer planning and site selection model,after based on account of less-than-carload goods express freight whereabouts,less-than-carload goods express freight centralized principle according to optimize.For example,scientific and feasible model is confirmed.Finally,analysis the process of traditional less-than-carload goods transportation,find out problems existing in the various links,after the goods change model of railway express operation process are analyzed,the railway less-than-carload goods express freight system was established for the protection of railway less-than-carload goods express freight transportation,improve railway less-than-carload goods express freight transportation door to door access service network and improve its management system.
