With the proportion of building energy consumption increasing, low carbon buildings and other new buildings in the construction industry are getting more and more attention. Therefore, it is necessary to design a set of reasonable, applicable and efficient low carbon building grade evaluation system. On the basis of analyzing the theory of low carbon building, the thesis introduces the whole life cycle theory, which is divided into five stages: preliminary planning, design planning, construction, operation and maintenance, and dismantling scrapped. At the same time, we analyze the factors that affect the carbon emissions.By referring the study of various indicators of building evaluation in this field at home and abroad, and the relevant standards, we put forward a set of appropriate indicators in the process, combined with literature research and questionnaire and other forms and methods, and ultimately determine the construction of low carbon level evaluation index system in order to determine the indicators of ideas and principles for guidance.Subsequently, in order to avoid the emergence of non objective in the evaluation of the results, the selection of the extension comprehensive evaluation method is used for the evaluation of low-carbon buildings. In order to solve the problem, the extension comprehensive evaluation of the degree of carbon emissions, the correlation degree and weight of the carbon emissions, respectively, through the elementary correlation function and the simple correlation function. This method can not only avoid the subjectivity, but also improve the accuracy of the final results. Finally,in order to verify the accuracy of the evaluation index and method, the evaluation index system is applied to the actual project, and the rationality of the index system is tested. In this thesis, the extension evaluation is applied to the assessment of the buildings' low carbon level in the whole life cycle, which verifies the applicability and rationality of the extension method, and has opened up a new way of thinking, and can better understand the factors that affect the carbon emissions.
