Greenhouse gases caused by human activities have seriously affected the survival and development of us. In the waves of globalization Low-carbon energy, governments,research institutions and international organizations have done a lot and made great progress. The evaluation of low-carbon buildings is an effective method to determine the low-carbon extent of the research. Through the establishment and application of evaluation index system model in this thesis, we can accurately evaluated reflect the carbon degree of life cycle. By analyzing the shortcomings of these researches, we can seek a reasonable solution.Experts and scholars have made a lot of research in the evaluation of low-carbon buildings, but there are disadvantages: The select of the indicators need to be more in-depth research and the evaluation model requires continuous improvement. Therefore,a more scientific and reasonable evaluation index system and evaluation model is the most important to improve the accuracy and usefulness of it. We have studied the evaluation of low-carbon buildings on the basis of the whole life cycle theory and by the in-depth study of the evaluation methods and evaluation models, some results are got as follows:(1) Made a systematic analysis of the low-carbon buildings. In this paper, the concept of low-carbon buildings is analyzed, and compared the low-carbon buildings with other buildings. On this basis, summarizing the advantages of low-carbon buildings.(2) Established the evaluation index system of the low-carbon buildings based on the full life cycle theory. Determined the main factors of low-carbon buildings in decision project stage, planning and design stage, construction stage, operation and maintenance stage, disposal and demolition stage on the basis of the research on the characteristics of low-carbon buildings.(3) Established a low carbon building evaluation model. Constructed the evaluation model by using the analytic hierarchy process and gray system theory method based on the characteristics of the evaluation system and reduced the allocation and the bias of comprehensive evaluation results resulting in human factors.(4) Made an empirical research to the evaluation system and evaluation model.Analyzed a case in linyi city by using the index system in this thesis, the experimental results further validated the feasibility and effectiveness of the evaluation system evaluation method and model.
