As a new kind of green energy, solar energy has received more and more widely used. This paper uses single-axis tracking solar power system as the research object, discusses how to improve the utilization rate of solar power, the single shaft tracking control strategy of solar power system and the stability of tracking control. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:According to the domestic and foreign solar tracking technology development status, analyzes the earth rotation and revolution caused by the solar azimuth angle, elevation angle and declination angle, when the sun really peaceful sun changes the mathematical model. According to different tracking needs, it selected the corresponding tracking mathematical model.This paper designed only to track the sun azimuth, elevation angle, manual adjustment of the single axis sun automatic tracking device. According to the difference of the distribution of solar radiation in different situations, the intermittent tracking strategy based on the visual daily running track is given, and the solar radiation sensor is supplemented. From two aspects of theoretical calculation and experimental analysis, the feasibility of tracking strategy is verified. At the same time, the specific amount of solar radiation to determine whether the implementation of tracking that make up for the all-weather tracking defects and reduce the blind tracking of energy consumption.The experimental prototype is built and designed the solar automatic tracking system and control system hardware circuit, including the motor drive circuit, limit circuit, signal sampling circuit design. The validity of the circuit is verified by the normal operation of the prototype.The simulation model of the mechanical control system of the solar single axis tracking is established, and the simulation analysis is carried out on the experimental prototype, and the tracking precision of the prototype is tested. Both show that the control system has good tracking effect, and the tracking accuracy of the control in a very small range.The power generation efficiency of the solar energy single axis tracking system was tested. The result shows that the design of the tracking system is about 30% higher than that of the fixed tracking system.
