Research On Operation And Starting Mode Of Isolated Grid In Huolinhe Aluminum Electric Company

With the cross-regional interconnection of power system and the unceasing expansion of power grid scale,the local power grids on the lower voltage levels are likely to be isolated from primary power grids and even to cause a blackout.In extreme weather,the regional grid might be disconnected with the major grid and operating as an islanded network.Because of the isolated net has many characteristics,such as unbalanced power,voltage support is weak.It is significant to study on the operation control strategy of the isolated grid and its stability analysis.Putting forward effective ways to keep system's stability is also of importance.This paper introduces and analyzes the common problems when operate in an isolated power grid,sums up the practices of concrete units,then provides the detailed dealing strategies based on the abnormality operation and start-up of the isolated power grid.Simulation research uses the software PSCAD/EMTDC and use the power system analysis software package PSASP to check the isolated network stability.In allusion to multiple schemes,build detailed and practical models respectively and carry on simulating calculation.Analyze the simulation results to verify the feasibility of those schemes and compare relative merits.The conclusions will be helpful to improve the ability of withstanding and dealing with abnormality operation in an isolated power grid and the safety of the power grid,providing good references for other units.
