The rapid development of Marine economy has brought about new demand of all kinds of ships,including working ship.“Green shipping” is advocated today.So the demand for ship emissions is becoming increasingly strict.Because working ships are not bound by stringent emission regulations,their emission has become the biggest sources of pollution,which has brought about serious damage to the atmospheric environment of port area.Therefore,the state has issued several regulations to limit emissions of these ships,which brings new challenges to the development of industry.To solve the pollution from ship emissions,the first thing coming into mind is to raise the efficiency of the diesel engine to control the emissions of ships so as to control the exhaust emission of ships,but it is not enough for modern ship.This topic optimizes engine,vessel,propeller which can lead to energy loss,from the perspective of energy conservation and emissions reduction.So as to improve the overall efficiency of the ship,and to be conform to the requirements of the regulations of emission and pollution reduction.This paper is divided into three parts to study.The first part is the design of a working ship.In accordance with the requirements of the user,this paper optimizes the model of the ship and prediction its resistance by MAXSURF.The second part is the optimization to turbocharger of the main engine of the boat.The simulation analysis of turbocharger is carried out by AVL-Boost.The best choice of the turbocharger is concluded.In the third part,the loss of energy in the process of transfer is analyzed firstly,and then reasonable and efficient layout-plan of power plant is discussed,after that,the appropriate shape of propeller is selected according to the actual performance index of the boat and main engine.The optimal type of propeller is selected according to the calculation results.The research program of this paper is more of practical significance compared to the empirical method,material object matching method used for a long time.Its design process and theory view point also can serve as a reference for the future design of these ships.
