Study On The Landscape Design Of Dawang Village In Guangde County Of Anhui Province Based On The Vernacular Landscape Notion

Rural settlements have long history of development and evolution in China,and have formed a stable and Chinese characteristic village form gradually.Once again rural settlements are developing quickly in the background of the new countryside construction and the new urbanization currently.However,in the development progress,due to the lack of relevant theoretical guidance,over the pursuit of modernization,the blind development driven by economic interests and other reasons,the construction of rural settlements has emerged the phenomenon of destructive development and the loss of traditional culture.Therefore,it is urgent to protect the ecological environment of rural settlement,inherit and absorb the excellent traditional culture,rebuild the image of rural settlement culture,promote the upgrading of industrial structure,and build a harmonious new rural settlement.This paper aims to study on the Vernacular landscape design of Dawang village in Guangde county in Anhui province to work out a solution of problems in the development of rural settlements especially the general villages nowaday.First,this paper defined the relevant conceps of the Rural settlement and the Vernacular landscape.The Rural settlement is a kind of settlement,which has distinctive production and life characteristics,quite different from the Urban settlement.And the Vernacular landscape is a native landscape form in rural settlements,which bred by the local natural environment,the production and life style,customs and habits,the spirit world of local people.Secondly,according to the relevant basic theory,researched and analysed of elements of the vernacular landscape,summed up the principle of the vernacular landscape construction.Then,according to elements of the Vernacular landscape,methods of the Vernacular landscape construction were derived.Thirdly,the principle and method of the Vernacular landscape construction were used to build the design system of the vernacular landscape in Dawang village in Guangde County of Anhui province.At last,the principle and method of the Vernacular landscape construction were testified and practiced through the landscape design of Dawang village.The Vernacular landscape as the carrier of the nature and culture in rural settlements,is the most intuitive and representative sign of the development of rural settlements.Rebuilt the regional characteristics construct of rural settlements by constructing the Vernacular landscape is helpful to solute the problems in the development process of rural settlements.
