With the rapid development of China's economy, the demand for electricity has increased, so China's power grid is in a regional power grid enhanced contact, urban power grids expanded access to more users. Therefore, in China's pow er grid becomes complicated, but also require a higher power quality. As a distribution network and the user is directly connected it is more complex, in order to ensure urban supply users with good power quality requirements of urban distribution network has good reliability. Its value is directly reflected in the low level of local city power industry, in order to ensure the city's economic and social benefits, which more and more attention. Use power supply reliability indicators to assess the quality of a city's energy, power and the ability to manage the level of urban power grid. Currently there is a reliable power supply management evaluation system is not uniform, data entry unreasonable, so the power supply reliability index not fully reflect the city. Urban power supply reliability of common indicators include: system average interruption frequency, the system average interruption duration, customer average interruption frequency, customer average interruption duration, the average electricity effective degree. Unified city in distribution network reliability index, using reasonable evaluation system derived indicators have profound significance for the improvement of urban distribution grid and expansion.Based on the depth and detailed analysis of the basic situation of Hohhot grid on the combination of index and its distribution network reliability evaluation method using Monte Carlo simulation program to calculate the reliability index of Hohhot, Hohhot and indicators proposed for effectively improving Hohhot power grid reliability measures. With this programming method derived reliability index may well reflect the level of supply reliability urban distribution network. Hohhot for economic development and meet the needs of the proposed measures to improve the reliability of Hohhot city distribution network, including the call for the Bureau of administrative measures and technical management measures. In this paper, the use of written procedures to calculate the reliability index may well reflect t he reliability of power supply distribution network in Hohhot, Hohhot proposed measures for improving the reliability of power supply cities with good guidance.
