Increasing car ownership, accompanied by a gradual increase in traffic, followed by a road traffic accident has become a global security issues in all over the word, which caused the widespread concern of the whole society. More and more road traffic accidents brought huge losses to people's life and property safety, which affected the people's standard of living seriously. China, as the superpower car ownership in the world, with car road traffic accident frequency at the same time, has high death toll people. To ensure the safety of road traffic, improve car driving safety is extremely urgent. Automatic emergency braking system (AEBS) can identify dangerous car or object ahead by radar or camera before the driver was not aware of the danger or wall collision measures offered to help the pilot to brake to avoid or reduce the collision. It have raising a hot wave AEBS development and test evaluation around the world. This article puts forward the applicable in China's urban road AEBS test and evaluation methods in view of the domestic actual urban road traffic accident statistic data, and does the validated test and evaluation through a model of real car.According to the Chinese road traffic accident data, such as traffic accident types, the number of deaths and property losses, puts forward the urban road AEBS test condition applicable in China.Mainly includes:the test condition of target car is static, the test condition of target car in lower speed, the test condition of a target is to decelerate, the test condition of the target car cut into the test lanes or cut out, the test condition of the test car cut into the target car lanes, the test condition of false alarm, Human Machine Interface (HMI) test.Categorizing test conditions, introducing the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), established the AEBS pass class hierarchy model of urban road conditions. And then sets up the judgment matrix of target layer with regard to criterion layer, and criterion layer with regard to their solution layer firstly, judge consistency, finally calculated AEBS evaluate the weight of each test condesition.Calculation results show that:the weight of five test conditions the target car is static, slow speed of target car, the target car is to decelerate, change lanes and target offset are 0.0878,0.5888,0.1387,0.0457,0.1389.HMI, false alarm and test to plus point evaluation methods were proposed. AEBS bonus evaluation mainly includes the consistency of AEBS alarm time to collision (TTC), the consistency of the distance between target car to test car when the test is finished, with the test condition of target car is static. Finally, carried on the real car test and evaluation according to the proposed AEBS urban road condition and the evaluation method.Test results show that the test car can brake to halt below the speed of 40 km/h, and can brake to mitigate the collision at high speed in the test codition of target car is static; The test car can brake to halt below the relative speed of 30 km/h, and can brake to mitigate the collision at high speed in the test codition of target car in lower speed; The test condition of change lanes has no effect on the performance of AEBS function; The test car can brake to halt in the test condition of 40 m and 12 m away v between the car, a target car deceleration to implement "brake test condition of 2 m/s2, ang can mitigate collision in a target car deceleration of 6 m/s2, which the distance between the car is 12m away; The test car do well in the HMI and false alarm test. The test model AEBS working condition of city road test evaluation score is 8.2734 points finally.
