Research On The Airflow Characteristics And Partition Effect Of Jet Air Curtain

Jet air curtain is generally used for thermal partition in the space regional separation, the control and barrier of harmful gas and the fire fume partition with extensive application. The combinations of the geometric parameters and air supply velocity with achieving optimal partition effect were considered for jet air curtains to investigate airflow characteristics, thermal partition and harmful gas partition of jet air curtain. And the airflow field and partition function of jet air curtain were improved to guide design and application in practical engineering. The contents in paper are as follows:(1) The airflow characteristics, calculation method, partition properties and its application of jet air curtain were elaborated systematically and numerical simulation method was introduced to investigate the airflow characteristics of jet air curtain. Technical ideas of design parameters was put forward to optimize jet air curtain(2) CFD numerical method was used to simulated the partition effect of the harmful gases, thermal partition effect and the ability to resist interference of the cross wind of low speed jet air curtain in the two-dimensional space. Different supply air volumes, jet widths and jetvelocities of the jet air curtain were as key factors to analyze the airflow characteristics and partition effect.(3) The thermal partition of jet air curtain for the refrigerator door was simulated using three-dimensional modeling under the cross wind interference of different separate velocities. Cross wind interference with different velocities were studied to affect the airflow characteristics and partition effect.(4) Thermal partition of jet air curtain with suction type inside the refrigerator car was simulated using simulation method. Comparison of airflow field distributions and temperature fields inside the car were conducted under the closed and opened jet air curtain. Different jet widths and jet velocities were considered to analyze the distribution of airflow field and temperature field.
